When I bought my GP, it came with a white facias (I think that what it is called) in the back and I was going to repaint it or replace it with a stock one from the JY, both cost about the same. How the hell do I remove it for painting/replacement? There are two type of bolts (see pictures below). What tools do need to remove them?

    First type:

    Second Type:

pull the center pin up then the clip should come out. at least thats the way my cowl clips work on my regal.

i actually have 2 clips with screw heads on them like the one you posted, the screw parts just spins on mine, so with a pick i pulled it up, then the whole lower part will come out.

same as the other kind, the rest look like that one. pull the center pin up and the whole clip comes out.

its kinda like a wall molly.

You could melt it off, like I did mine..or at least the middle part of the Valance...120 too long
one spins out with phillips then pulls out...the other one is a push pin that pulls part way then the whole thing comes out....I got newer tighter ones from Oreillys when I put my new Valance/fascia on.

You have to remove the whole bumper, 97-03 cars arent like 04+.

Either paint on the car, or remove the whole bumper and paint.

Yeah, you cant just remove the Fascia itself.

Just tape off the surroundings very, very well and paint it on the car.

Thats the easiest way to go.

Just keep in mind, paint has a bigger over spray than you think, so when you feel like you taped off the surroundings enough, tape off some more. lol

    Can never be to safe.

Taking the bumper off seriously only takes 5-10 minutes.

Its like 10 black circle clips and 2 bolts. 4 up top, like 6 under the bumper and 2 bolts through the fender.

What's wrong with that? Cover all the seams and you're good to go.
