Hi my name is Patrick M. and I am new to this. But I have a 2002 Grand Prix se 3.1L and I need to replace the Crank Position sensor and the Knock psition sensor. What I was wondering was if somebody could help with information on this. Any information will be helpful thank you in advance.

    Pat,

I don't have the actual info on the 3.1L but you'll follow the same basics for the crank sensor as the 3.8.
    Remove passenger tire
    Untension belt
    Remove harmonic balancer
    Change sensor and reassemble.

    Sorry I don't have better info.. haven't done a 3.1 yet..
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
