My parents had my car before me and they had this hideous skull sticker on the rear windshield. I took it off recently and now there is this dark spot on the glass in the shape of the sticker. Is there any solutions to this other than getting a new windshield.

Dark spot? Like residue? Either use goo gone, or get it tinted so it won't matter anyway and will look better and block sun.
If its literally just a dark spot I have no idea. I can only think of it leaving residue.

It's looks like a tinted spot where the sticker was.

You could try using a rubbing compound, just like if you were removing water spots.
