i would post up pics of the hose you found first , and then go from there might be a hose to the heater core and that would be good news for you .

got a sweet smell to it as well?

and is the car loosing coolant?

im thinking the heater core is leaking. its located dead center of the dash, in that black plastic box in front of the console.

you can take the heater hoses off the fire wall and one off the inlet or out let tube from the engine, and just loop it for now to see if it stops leaking and or fogging the windows.

what in the pic is nothing, its leaking from the core its self. it looks like a small radiator, and coolant flows through it, its how the heater works in the car.

you can also buy a pressure tester, it goes in place of the rad cap, and you pump it up to so many psi, then go looking for the leak, at this point it would be a good idea to have the carpet pulled up so you can see a active leak.

heater cores a bit of a pita to do, but can be done in a few hours. lots of little screws holding layers together.
