Well first im new here and only had my grand prix for 2 months love it but tonight as i was going home from work on the back roads i had to hit the brakes hard to miss a deer and the brakes locked up i thought this car had ABS or its just not working. Also there are no ABS or brake lights on what would cause this and hope it can be fixed before winter gets here and its buffalo so that can be anyday now

Are you sure they locked up? Or did the tires just chirp.

Tires can play a role in this.

Maybe they are worn out and when you hit the brakes really hard it locked them up.

All the clusters are the same.

ABS is overrated anyway. I absolutely despise it. ABS has almost CAUSED me to wreck on several occassions.

Does your abs light come on when you start the car?
