Still an import.
I read an article a few months back and it said the most "American" cars were... wait for it.... Toyotas.
Re: What exactly is a "Ricer" ?
No Toyotas use the most parts made in America. GM still has assembly plants all over in America, but the parts are made in Mexico Canada or China.

A lot of Toyotas are also made in America.
Re: What exactly is a "Ricer" ?
No I was talking to Kolton.
What I ment was Toyotas parts are mostly made in the US not shipped in.

Makes sense
Not really. Its cheaper to assemble the cars in other countries because of the UAW.

Point was way before that happening and specifically to the Asian invasion as anything built in Canada was near the so called standards of living here in the US. Anyways... It's all water under the bridge now. I just wanted to point to the origination of the term and then dispelling that ridiculous political correctness of Race Inspired B/S... Lol

I've never seen a GP with an F1 hood anywhere in the tristate area
Re: What exactly is a "Ricer" ?
How could I miss this thread? lol.
Ricer
A person who makes unecessary modifications to their most often import car (hence the term "rice") to make it (mostly make it look) faster
Re: What exactly is a "Ricer" ?
Nobody mentioned but how bout checking out the ricer thread. Tons of pics in there to laugh at.
