Yep I had my fare share of issues with 4l60es in the camaro, destroyed them 3times before I smartened up and we built one with real parts. Rated to 650hp so we will see......

I dont plan on beating it at the track, just wanted a number. But Ill see if sonnax or a few other places make replacement parts that are stronger for the 4T65e and i will keep my eye on the fluid temp reading.

Intense-Racing and ZZP make input shafts that would hold the power.
Sonnax etc makes many upgrades. Your trans should have most of them already, being newer than most.
You won't have the 4th clutch hub issue, too new
You will have the V8 drive chains

Overall, you should be nice to the trans. I have a local that is on his 5th trans since March. Still not able to hold stock power and he doesn't abuse it at all. It's his DD.

On the 4L60, I can't give that trans any hassles. Have it in the pickup and it's been seriously beaten, flogged and abused. Won't give up or slip.

$t65's.. lol I sold stuff off in pieces after having two transmissions to rotate through between rebuilds.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Wow are you sure the 4l60 in your truck is not the 4l80? If not kudos on it not breaking! I was racing the camaro almost every weekend and I put about 10k on it a year
