Hello all,

LSM= Liquid Silver Metallic if I'm not mistaken...
I think he knows its an LS4, 5F.
Oh yeah....Lots of work. Cam, heads, headers, catless mids, SLP LM2 mufflers, BC coilovers, Intake, pulleys, short throw, LS7 clutch, HID's, Corvette rotors/brakes, Full bushing kit, and other mods....
Yes and yes! :-)
I have owned so many pontiacs, but these are my two favorite.
Yes I do.. LOL
Here are some pics of my Silver Pontiacs....More pics of the GTO since I just bought the GXP...
GTO....
and my favorite that has won me Car of the Month - March 2012 on PFYC.com......
Subed cause im sure I can learn a thing or two from you! Welcome and congrats on the awesome garage.
Edit: Wow look at that garage, my kind of guy with the matchy matchy!
ooooo love that GTO, to bad it wasnt ls2 but least ur makin it look like it a bit haha, also nice GXP, any plans for the gxp?
Ask away! I have been a big pontiac guy...currently a mod on our local GTO group azdgforums.com
And I wanted a White GXP but thinking that I could have a big brother for my GTO, silver was the way to go! Funny that my GTO being an 04 has 60,000 miles less than the GXP lol
You know, I have owned a WS6 with the LS1 and this engine is tried and true. The LS2 is 50 more HP...but known to burn oil and be unreliable. I will stick with the bullet proof engine.
As far as the GXP...I have already started doing some appearance mods, and have to figure out what I want to do with the wheels/rims. The last owner put the 225 rims on the front with 255 tires, and 255s on the rear. SO i have rubbing on the rear tires, and the front tires are buldging out due to the smaller wheels. I have already replaced the headlights due to the sun beaten original ones, blacked out the backup lense, and plan to tint the tails. I have new 3.5 inch dual tips on order and I want a nice catback with the resonator removed. Definately an intake, and maybe headers. But this is a DD and I have a new born so i need it to be somewhat mild. That is what the GTO is for!
The GXP has different sized rims.
18x8 Front and 18x7 rear, thats why the tires are 255 and 225, you can run a 245 all around and be fine.
And if you want different sound, just swap mufflers, no need to spend the extra money on a catback, you wont net anything.
Yeah I know. The point is that they moved the 18x7s to the front and the 18x8s to the rear. I do like the stance of the 255s in the rear, just need to get another set of 18x8s for the front....and roll the fenders in the back.
Yeah I do want to gain some performance so the intake and headers will do that, but for near future, a catback will be just fine.
anything sounds good on a gxp cuz its a v8 lol. just poke around on youtube and such. a lot of people buy borla. honestly to save money i would buy borla muffs and if i were u and then just have the rest of the catback "fabricated" at an exhaust shop. just have then weld together 2.5 inch stainless steel pipes for the rest of it. itll be cheaper that buying borla, corsa, magnaflow catback and probly the slp catback too.
Clean looking rides man. Love the GTO.
Dont know how much you know about these GP's.. But be nice to the transmission. They hate the ls4's LOL
Thanks man! Yeah that was the first thing I was concerned about when I was looking for one. Luckily, I found this one that already had a brand new tranny put in by GM 30k miles ago. I just hope it was not abused at all. The stock lasted 50k. Either way, we have a transmission god out here in AZ that builds many F-body, GTO, Vette trannies and if this one goes, I will just have him make it stronger so that I can start putting some power to the wheels.
