Whats up guys. Just traded in my 08 cammed silverado for an 07 grand prix gxp, I am very pleased with it so far. Just did a 16 hour full paint correction on it see pictures. I am heavily involved with performance so suggestions are welcome. Thanks for having me.

    Sup.

Read the LS4 section on Ls1 tech for info on mods if you plan to do them.

Intake swaps and turbo's are pretty much your only options, along with a downpipe and small things. But if you plan for power, build the trans, it wont handle much past the 250-260 crank HP the car puts out.

With everything stock, you wont gain much at all. Might get a few more HP with being able to adjust the MAF and see how much KR the motor is getting and make small changes from there. But if the car could breath more (exhaust) if would just be all around better and a tune there can be more helpful. Anything after the cat will gain zero HP, just some FYI. Still alot of small things can be changed like fan settings and such.

    Maybe a 14.5 in the 1/4th.

And this is how you set up a turbo on a GXP.

There is a car tuning turbo kit, but its overpriced. $5000 is a lot, especially when you factor in the nice expensive transmission to go with it.

Rear/remote mounts are inefficient, that "cooling" they advertise because of the long distance between the head and the turbo actually causes it to spool very slowly.

A GXP wont run much better. Its got more power when stock compared to a GTP, same exact trans, its 200lbs more and will wheel spin like no other when mashed to the floor. Its still should only run in the 14's.
