    Hey All

Thanks for stopping by. I am currently an owner of a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix and was in the market for a new keyfob. The one I currently have the battery died on and when i pried off the top the little metal casing that holds the battery to the connectors has broke off.

    Any assistance is helpful

    Thanks

You may want to check Ebay. There are usually a bunch of them out there.

You will need to do one of 3 things depending on your abilities.

    1) replace and reprogram a new FOB, use the # on the back to find a direct replacement or see dealer.

    2) toss the Fob and use the key, old school style

    3) Break out your surgical precision skills and soldering iron and solder and reconnect the 3 points on the terminal. I've done it and it worked well for a while. Nice way to look at it, its already broken, trying to fix it won't make it any worse. If it doesn't work, you can still order a replacement.

    Either way, Good Luck
