Hey there, I am brand new to grand prix's sort of. I owned one about 6 years ago, but was a 91. I just recently... today... picked up a 2000 GP GTP. Traded my 93' 300zx for it. I am so far thinking it was a decent trade, but I got to keep making the payments on this bad boy. Hoping to learn some things about these cars and get to know some cool people, hopefully some in Washington State, near Seattle. Here are some pics of my car.

they wanted 4888 for it, and they only gave me 1k for my Z car. I make about 1600 - 1800 a month, I will have it paid off in no time at all. plus my fiance works too. And I have some other money I make. Ill have it done within six months. then I can do some things to it

Your z in bad shape? I would think you should be able to get more than $1k for it.

Mechanically it was amazing, but it needed all new paint, previous owners ex went crazy with a key on it. and the rear needed new seats as when I got it, it had a custom box for four 12's, but I removed it, so the back was kinda bleh. Previous owner also put like velvet or w/e red in side, and it was starting to come off. 155k on it, all original stuff, even shocks, only thing added, by me, was chrome dual piping on the dual intakes, and a cone filter.

Oh so it was a little beat up I can understand that. Good luck with your modding and if any questions just ask.

NICE! The only thing I worry about on this thing IS the miles, not going to lie. These salesmen were good lol. I usually don't listen to the bull, but they were fast, and new how to not shut up enough to let me think. lol. but so far I haven't seen any issues or noticed any, other than the power steering makes noise, bu t it may just be low on fluid, so I'll be checking that....

but like I said, once it's paid off, then I'll go through and have fun with it. Except intake, cuz apparently it already has a K&N Intake . so my plans in the future so far are mostly.... Headers, exhaust, cam... cam gears, and what have you.

right now it's at 225k. I know these cars are supposed to be good on miles. and because this is all mostly highway miles, i figured it might be ok. Dude used to drive it from here to san diego all the time, hence why so many.

yes, lots of miles... but hoping lots left... I am enjoying it so far ... I am going to have a shop check it out more in depth on my next pay check, and probably do some fluid changes to just make sure all is well.
