    Hello Everybody
As the subject says . I need some help with a 92 Grand Prix I am working on.
I got a 92 grand prix that had been sitting for several years. I replaced the fuel pump& sending unit. and did a oill change and she worked. I drove it around for a couple of blocks and when I parked it the the service engine lite came on. I have a code reader and when I went to hook it up I can't find the correct connector to plug it in. I looked at the one that is just below the steering colum and to the right. It has a different type of connector. Is there another location for the reader to plug into?
    Thanks in Advance

I dumped all the old fuel out when I did the R&R of the fuel pump and I installed a new fuel filter and put fresh gas in the tank.
    Keith
I will check that site right now and get back.
    Thanks!

ok so where do I go from here.? where are those sensors located?/can they be tested?
    I really appreciate this help!!!!!

The 12 is normal, you'll always see that. It says the knock sensor is on the side of the engine closest to the firewall. It is almost directly under the middle exhaust port of the exhaust manifold about 2 or 3 inches down. But the sensors themselves are'nt usually an issue, its the wiring. What issues are you having besides the SES light? If it's running fine, I would erase the code and see if it comes back.

If you are lucky that code was just a glitch from sitting for two years.

It seems to be running fine. I will do a reset and look at the wiring while I'm at it.
Thank you very much for your help in this matter Keith. If you ever come thru Yuma,AZ. Drinks are on me!!!!!
