Finally took the administrator's suggestion to introduce myself and correspond with you all.
You guys have a tremendous amount of good technical detail on your forum here.
    I'm impressed.
Have a 2001 Grand Prix 3.8L sedan. Great little car but beginning to have middle age
    problems.
I found a great technical link on replacing a faulty fuel level sensor about a month ago
here. Excellent presentation with a link to a you tube video showing how to do it.
Now back to get some help on troubleshooting a driving problem.
Driving home from errand the car just died as driving along. Restarted okay but just
barely running and all the gauges were randomly jumping all over the place and then
died again. Sat for about 10 minutes, restarted and everything was fine. Drove home
    with no more problems.
Thought maybe ecm problems or maybe a bad ground somewhere. Haven't run a code
check yet (I have to borrow a code reader from a mechanic friend). Could use some
suggestions. There seems to be a wealth of wisdom here.
