OMG... what's a PAU? It's another awesome car that had the L67 before the W body (GP)
It's the car that has sunvisors for the rear seat passengers (seriously)
It's the car that you can't be uncomfortable in...no matter how hard you try.
    It's that car.

    Ultra...because it is.

Never a problem. Although in a PAU the subframe likely didn't have to move. In my Bonne I barely had to wiggle the header to get it in place w/o touching the subframe. I imagine the PA was similar.

If you are looking to put more power to it and don't want the back to drag like a W body.. look into drag bags. I think the PA had availability.

I did it in my Bonne to keep down the weight transfer after seeing a vid driving of me slapping the throttle and the rear bumper nearly touching the ground. It was awesome for keeping me moving instead of spinning. I took a nearly 2 hour drive to a meet with a transmission (160-200lbs), tons of exhaust manifolds, intake manifolds, superchargers etc.. filled the Bonne trunk and back seat. Pumped up the bags....the car had a nice rake to it. No one at the meet believed all that stuff was in the car.

For the W body guys that have heard of my car..here's what I'm talking about.

BTW, I took the liberty of checking Summit for your car. Here ya go.

Best part is it doesn't compromise ride quality.

I kind of just skimmed the instructions, do they rig into the stock air compressor or you fill em yourself via valve?

I read the whole thing, nevermind. Thanks for that link. I've heard of other PA owners rigging their air shocks in a similar fashion for a similar purpose. I want to keep my compressor hooked up though, this is a better alternative I'll definitely take advantage of.

The stock compressor is low volume, high pressure. This would use very little pressure and a slightly higher volume.

what I did was drill another hole in the panel in my trunk where the fill valve and off/on switch for the stock compressor was sitting. I found that I needed to fill/deflate it so infrequently that I'd etiher do it off my home compressor or run the hose from the trunk fill valve of the stock compressor to the bag fill valve. You do have a fill valve in the trunk and a hose to do tirres etc, right?

On that trip with the transmission etc in teh trunk. I filled to the max 35psi and when I arrived (still raked) I let air out to allow us to lift the stuff out easier. Then filled to the proper level that I'd want. These things are very easy to install as well. You squeeze the bags and cap them per the instructions..they slide into the spring and you hook up the hoses, route the hoses to a T and then to the fill valve.

The only thing I've done with my air ride is replace the shocks... You mean to tell me I can run a hose from the compressor and keep it in my trunk to fill my tires?

I'm telling you to check your trunk. Bonnevilles had a on/off switch, schrader, hose kit etc stock from the factory. I thought the PA also had it in the trunk.

It's looking like no schrader valve/hose. I'll follow the lined up from the compressor under the car but unless it's hiding behind something the park doesn't have it.

If you have any idea how I could splice a hose in there w a switch, I would install one in a heartbeat. Haven't really had time to look at it that close yet.

yeah..I verified ...you didn't get it. Apparently PA owners weren't expected to want it.

Easiest way is to probably pull it from a Bonne and replace the hosing/vent/switch.

Lol. I could see that, being typical Buick owners are 70 years old plus! Hahahah. I'm going to have to try to find one at a junkyard. Is it only from the ssei? Base models don't have the compressor?

anything with leveling. But.. 92-03 SSEi's definately and maybe SLE's and likely the 04-05 GXP's have it.
