Just went to see if i forgot to welcome anyone
and notice i never signed in..
My Name is John and am another OQCGP Club member...
I have only owned my 1998 GTP for 15 months now but i think it is
probly one of the best investments i ever made....
I picked this ride because it is my son Daltons birth year, and the car will
be going to him once he is old enough to drive it. He will be 10 in Feb 2008.
We work on the car all the time and there is still lots to do, the car is going in
next week to have the SLP headers put on...
Dalton has C/P so the car will have to get some mods for him to drive it
and he loves the car... I am learning lots from the other members
with much more to learn so thank you from both of us for being here.

Welcome! Great looking ride. Was it originally a GTX or did you add the hood etc?

Welcome, I have a black 2000 GT and a galaxy silver 2003 GT that me and my wife currently use as daily drivers. I am going to do the same with my sons. Keep the cars and continue to modify until they are old enough to pass them on but I told my wife by that time I'll have a fire and ice theme painted on them. Just haven't figured out how to use frost and ice-cycles in a paint theme yet.
debadged, clear corners, 20% tint, tinted tails, vibrant performance tips, red painted calipers, Fig. grills, autometer guages, PFYC 3 pod A pillar, SLP CAI, 2.5" DP, SD Hood, SD front air damn, Gen I spoiler, 17X8 Borbet Type M rims, engine upgrades soon!

John, is that thing competition orange or something or is it red and just looks orange from the light? It looks great, dont get me wrong, I just dont recall ever seeing an orange colored GP.

The car is painted with the same paint as the flames
minus some yellow to make for the Ghost flames to blend in.....
I think it is my camera or maybe even the operator of it
The factory paint is bright red though sorry don't have the Part
    number infront of me..
And thanks Scott we're working on her.

Yeah i belive it is just the lighting on the car
the front of the car has some pearl in the paint for the flames
