I have just become the proud 3rd owner of a 98 Slivermist GTP coupe. Fully equipped with Black leather (but no sunroof)
I purchased it from my best friend who in turn had purchased it back in December '11.
At the time of purchase it had 142,142 miles on the odo, and body-wise it is in near mint condition.

It has just recently (before purchased in Dec) had the S/C snout changed, LIM, full tune-up, trans. service, S/C oil change, front wheel bearings and outer tie rods. The rest of the car seems solid and she runs great.

I have already taken the car to E-town and in full-street trim with just a cooldown with the hood popped has run 3-14.8's @ 93.36 MPH on a best 2.27 60' time. (which from what I see is dead on for a stock GTP)

All I've done so far is tint the windows, but my goal for this car is to get her into the low 14's with basic bolt ons. A 14.2 would give me the giggles, but a 14.0 would be perfect.

I've already read the sticky on "how to safely mod your 3800" and my first mod will be the install of the U-bend delete pipe hollow then a pulley. Then later, a good tune and I think I should be where I want to be.

I live in Central NJ, and will be frequenting E-town before summer either with my GTP, or my other car, (00 Audi A6 2.7T 6spd, Stage 3+) which I'm trying to get into the 12's with some better launching and a new clutch.

If anyone would like to hang sometime, shoot me a pm.

Just wanted to stop in and say "Hello".

    Jim

    Welcome.

You might want to read that thread over. Just from my understanding you think you can run a smaller pulley on just a ubend delete. You will need atleast a plog/downpipe or headers (best route) to do such. Then plugs and tune.

    But anyways, enjoy your stay.

    Thanks,
It wouldn't be the first time I've mis-read something. Will re-read in greater detail.
