I have a 99 gp gt and i have some serious electrical issues...i have done very little to it yet, many plans though. So heres whats goin on, a week ago my window regulator broke on the drivers door which i replaced, and now my cars haywire. First off the car wont start, ill get one click of the starter then nothing. I checked the voltage on the battery with my multimeter and its at 9.4volts. I attempted jumping it nevertheless, nothing. My key locks in the ignition and most of the power to the cabin cuts out. Doors dont ding, windows wont roll, radio wont play, and the dome lights become strobes...i looked all over and cant find a fix for it, i also tried disarming with no avail, if any knows something to try please help! Thank you!

9.4 volts is one dead battery, man. Charge it up or replace it. It should read around 12.6 volts.

03 GTP...Its got pulleys and stuff.

Its too far gone for a jump. 11.7 Volts is 0% charge. Completely dead. You are well below that. You need a battery charger or a new battery.

Yep. You can unlock the key. There's a circle access panel on the bottom of the steering column (below where you put the key in). Just remove that and stick a small screw driver in there and it will release. Or you might be able to pull enough voltage off of the mountaineer to release it. Right now, you are trying to run a 12v system off of 9volts. Replace or charge the battery and you're up and running.
