I have a sweet 1992 Grand Prix that sags really badly in the rear; I understand this is common since they use a poorly conceived FIBERGLASS transverse leaf spring. Has anyone else solved this problem short of replacing the EXPENSIVE leaf spring? I have no problem with modifying or improvising parts if necessary.

its a 92, so yeah, leaf springs.

I would just replace the leaf springs and shocks if it has them.

I think I mentioned they're expensive; $562 BEFORE shipping costs. IF you can find a new one. All of the ones I've seen so far were salvaged and the only thing worse than a defective part is a used AND defective part!
