My wife has a 2000 Grand Prix and when she turns on her air the driver side gets cold air but the passengers side gets warm air? How can I check the passenger side actuator?

remove the glove box, to your left on the side of the air box, you will see one of these. its called a blend door actuator. this is not your part don't buy it, but it looks just like it. OEM CHEVY GMC TRUCK HEAT HEATER A/C FAN Air VENT BLEND DOOR ACTUATOR 16177412 | eBay
its got 2 screws and a plug on it. remove it and turn the knob by hand to cold air, and then buy a new one and install it the reverse you got it out.
