Hi all, I am new to the forum, this is obviously my first post, normally I am a reader of all the valuable info that is being posted by all the folks who have been through it and have found solutions to issues that I am now seeing. To start off with my wife owns a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix, 3800 series II. (great car!) well she loaned it to her daughter to drive as her daughter has blown up a Kia sportage, and I was nice and let her drive my 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix... (huge mistake) she let her dope head boyfriend drive it, it is now totalled, so my wife thought she would help out and let her daughter drive the the 2002 pontiac... Well, that proved to be a mistake too, the daughter was given instuctions, check the oil every so often cause it would burn a little, watch the brake light as well as there is a little cylinder in the driver side rear wheel well that has a small leak... (not sure of the purpose of that thing yet) anyway... Something went wrong with the car, the car will not stay running, spits and spudders when I do get it started. I put it in gear and it quits... I took it to the dealership and they said MAF sensor... So, I figured I would tear it down to the valve seals, fix, replace all that I can without having to pull the motor... I am having some problems findinig info as far as intake/exhaust valves, making falve lash adjustments, proper torque values... If anyone can point me in the right direction as to where I might be able to find this invaluable information?

Thank you!

Bill
