    Welcome

You know he mean KR as in "knock" right? Like retarding the timing.

Not doubting your knowledge or your mechanics knowledge, but how well does he know what he is talking about?

Jumping from a 3.4 to a 3.0 is HUGE, and normally means more mods than what you have to run safely.

My mechanic knows his stuff. Also the place I buy parts said it will be fine to use just need a IC to go lower with some internals. My car is running perfect and have been running it for over a year now.

Modding the bottom end is not needed to go lower.

You could do a cam or IC and drop more, or stay the same size and run more timing to get the most out of it.

A cuztom tune, a scangauge and Wideband would be needed.

I have a custom tune for it. Since I blew my IAC within the first 2 weeks of putting it on. I put the headers on at the same time. But learned the hard way with it and now its running perfect. trying to get a ported SC and TB now

I know you have a custom tune now, but I was saying if you went farther a tune with either DHP or HPT buy a tuner would be key.

Also, ported blowers are great, but porting the throttle body will require a custom maf tune to make it read right so the car runs right. It may be best not to do that one because I dont think you are outflowing the stock TB yet.

The key to running that pulley on those mods are the msd coils and ngk spark plugs.....

How in the world do you have no KR running a 3" pulley with just headers and an intake. You are seriously scanning with some sort of scan tool and have NONE?

How are you scanning and with what?

I could possibly see a 3.3" with a richer AFR but a 3.0"? You need bigger injectors for that cuz.

    Otherwise, welcome.
