im a distribution splicer for con edison, thats the power company for NYC. i splice 27000 volts, and regular 120/208. i work underground so its pretty cool, not a bad gig i started when i was 20, ill be there 3 years september, now i just got 32 more to go

Yea sounds like a good job to hang on to. Right outta high school, I got a job working for Bell Atlantic, big phone company in VA, kick myself everyday for giving up that job. Money was good, but being on call 24/7 and putting in between 80-100 hrs a week was killing me. Now I work for good ol' Uncle Sam. 17 more years and then I can retire. I'll have 28 years in all together.

bell atlantic was here in nyc, that was like in the 80's then it was bell atlantic nynex mobile, then Verizon bought it. hey laura i didnt forget that you didnt post pics yet
