Glad I found this forum, looks like a boat load of great info! Especially on the audio end, I've had my 01 gtp for a little over a year and have really wanted to get an aftermarket deck since the stock cd player is dead. I've been putting it off because I really didn't want to have to rip the car apart and re wire all the speakers! Now that I know about the magic pink wire.... I'm set!

I'm planning on doing some work when my tax return comes in. The car is currently at 125k, pretty sure the struts are stock, so I'm looking at different posts to see what way to go.. I was thinking the quick struts looked like a good route?? But I also see that alot of guys here go for the KYB struts.. Also need to figure the strange "popping" I get when I make a turn on uneven ground.... Seems like it's in the center of the car, someone once told me it could be the rack bushings... I haven't had a chance to get it in the air and get a good look though. I've been reading about he U bent delete in a few posts, might try to work that in while it's on the rack as well.

Anyway, just wanted to say HI!

I love the color, the previous owner didn't take much pride in the paint job though... lots of scratches and nicks.. need a new rear bumper cover as well, it's got a crack that looks like someone kicked it in the lower driver side.. Hoping I can find a decent one in the bone yard and save myself the time of painting one.

    Welcome!
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.
