To make a long story very short, I had to sell my 01 Grand Prix GTP. Biggest mistake I have ever made! I am looking to buy a new car and would love to get back into a 3800. I thought I would throw this question up and see what those of you who have built them right and wrong think. I would like to know what you guys would look for if you did it all over again. Would you buy another 01 or would you go for the an 05 Grand Prix? Not that those are my two options I am just trying to give an example. I am looking for opinions on what you think the best starting point would be as for building a car. I personally like the looks of the GTX's but they are hard to come by and the look can be replicated. I also like the 04-05 impalas but for the price and the the series II in that year they probably arent worth it. Maybe you guys prefer a turbo and dont like the supercharger I'm just interested in hearing what you guys think and am open to many options. Anyway, hopefully you guys dont mind sharing what you would or did do and what you did and did not like. Thanks.
