    hi my name is austin worken on my 97 grand prix swaped motors have a few troubles like we need to find the vacume hose for the transmission and it has some window problems and it shifts really hard as well as over heats can anyone help

    Welcome.

    What motor did you swap from/ to?

    Its going to shift hard if the vacuum hose on the trans is left open.

    Is your tstat opening?

    I switched to a 3800 same everything except it's from a 03 and it from a gt instead of a se and yes its opening

    Well, the 03 trans is different than the 98-02, and the 97 is even different than that. You may not be able to get that swap to work right.

    What temps are you seeing?

    The new motor is in it works I just need to find the hose for the vacuum on the tranny and normal temps

    Spade I think hes saying he needs to get the temps normal.
    I would get rid of the 4T60e and get a 4T65e.
