    Hey people,

I usually don't do the whole intro thing, but after posting in the audio subforum, a message popped up asking me to head over here and say hello, so why not?

As of Wednesday the 25th, I've been a Grand Prix owner. It's an '06 GP, it's a former fleet vehicle so it has a few miles on it, but it also came with the stack of service records showing it's been taken care of.

My first car was a '92 Bonneville - and since then I've had a soft spot for Pontiacs. Though my last car was a Chrysler, I feel like I'm in much more of a "me" car again.

While I'm not *that* mechanically inclined, my success stories come from mostly interior and audio work, and I'm anxious start the processes getting my GP closer to how I want it.

    See you around.

Thanks for the welcome, all. I stayed up *way too late* reading various threads here - it looks like there's a lot of brilliant folks on this board with some really great ideas.

I'm actually from Vancouver, WA - which is just across the Columbia from Portland, OR.

While I'm not necessarily interested in squeezing out every last horse possible, I am interested in maximizing efficiency. This car's gonna be a lot of fun - and I'm almost certain it would be a good idea to get the extended (third party) warranty on it. Though I'm not sure which one... a thread on that to come, if searching doesn't do me much good.

    regards,
    Nik

    Welcome Nik,

We are having a Mod day in Portland Sept. 6th. Well, it's actually in Hillsboro which is about 20 minutes West of Portland. We usually have a gathering the first Saturday of every month, and it's usually a mod day. If you are interested you can PM me, or join the local club PDXCGPPortland Club Grand Prix Go to the bulletin board and register, it's free.
