Been looking for a GTP, and got one. Engine has rod knock, but I picked her up for $1400.00 Not a bad deal imo at all.

Other than rod knock I guess it needs
    front pads
and from 1/25/11 of his invoice it needs as follows:
front sway is cracked and links and bushings are worn
    rear sway bar links loose
    rear lower control arm bent
    2 inner tie rods loose
    right front wheel bearing

other than a engine rebuild, those shouldnt cost a arm and leg to replace I hope
After a wash and wax this puppy will sparkle

    nice car.

IMO, dont rebuild the motor, just part it out and make money off it.

Just drop in another lower mileage motor and be done. It will cost alot more money to rebuild a motor, than it would be to just just drop a long block in.

Clean car... $1400 is a steal for that if you're going to do the work yourself. Check out moradpartscompany for a drop-in replacement engine.
