Congragulations on the repair. Isn't it great doing simple tasks yourself, and saving lots on labour, and the double to triple charge of the parts.
I mistakenly went for the cheapest - a hydraulic motor mount - the first time. A year later I spent 2-3 hours mounting a polyeurathane transmission mount (less expensive than the rubber) for a mustang to the grand prix as the lower engine mount, a few spacers and 4 new holes (2 lower mounts, and 2 to access the upper mount in car) + 2 upper mounts reamed out. Im very happy with the results and if the transmission mount ever fails it will also be replaced with polyeurathane. (my engine is leaking a little bit of oil which may have helped destroy the hydraulic motor mount)
One great mod is rotating the square dogbone mounts 1/4 turn so that the more solid portion is going front to back, helping to hold the engine in-place slightly better. Remove the dogbone, Put bolt and nut back in place, put some wd-40 around the rubber and use 1-2 wrenches to rotate the rubber in the dogbone mount. remove bolt and reattach to dogbone.
whats the hv3
