Just purchased a GP from the original owner. Stock, all records, looks good, runs good, blue 2 door SE with the red accent stripe. 3.1 V6 with a completely rebuilt top end an a new transmission. 135k.

Runs great but has a few issues of course as any $2000 car would have. Thermostat stuck open, Security light on, low coolant light blinking (NOT LOW), turn signals slow, hazards not working, electric locks not working, electric windows are super slow. I can address most of the issues but the Security light has me concerned after reading about all the electrical gremlins these cars have. I want to see if anyone has used the Pro Bypass Module. didn't find anything with a quick search. Will dig deeper at a later time.

    Welcome!

Check out the Nebraska Late Model Pontiac site at http://www.NLMPontaic.com for meets/events, local classifieds and other shenanigans.

Your low coolant light and your open thermostat issues are probably related. The turn signal being slow is probably a relay, which when that's fixed your hazards should work again. As far as your security light... I have no idea. The locks and windows are probably related to the door panel switch (that could be part of the security issue as well?).

If you need any help, AWEB on Nebraska Late Model Pontiac knows your gen grand prix and could probably offer some assistance.
