Just wanted to say hi! I have a mostly Stock 2005 Grand Prix. The only mod is a new sound system (2x 12" JL Audio 12W0v2-4) and hopefully some new LED tail lights soon. I wish I would have known about this site a while ago, i've already found a lot of usefull information!

Welcome, JLM. I'm in Western NY - are you experiencing the "melt" we are here?

I'd be interested in what brand of LED T-lights you're going to use, as I'm in the market. How many miles on your 05?

specifically I want the black ones

and ya were having the "melt" here too. It sucks, my car almost got hit by a large tree branch when the storm first hit.

I'm in the Dayton area, i'll post some pics of my setup as soon as I can walk around in my driveway without risking slipping on all the ice. LOL

I already took a nasty fall trying to clean up my tires. XD

    The pics as promised!

    The crappy stock system

The new system (The amp is actually 500w, They gave me a different box for some reason.)

    New 12" JL Audio 12W0v2-4

New 8.3" In dash DVD (PTID-8310NRB). Everyone that sees it for the first time is like OMG!

I love my new system and it sounds great! I have to thank the guys at Stereo-In-Dash.
They did a great job and really stand by their work.

Also. I have dynamat installed in the trunk and around the speakers so I don't get that terrible rattling noise.

i've never personally do it but i have a couple of friends that do it and i guess all you have to do is literally just drive to middletown and drive around long enough and someone will find you and take you out to where they race...although my buddy's that actually race are pretty legit so pick wisely...the one's got a turbo'd foxbody pushin close to 550 to the wheels and the other's got a turbo'd terminator...lol like i said pick wisely so you dont get smashed but other than that just go and have some fun!!!
