About two months ago i bought a 2000 grand prix se with 3800 second car i have owned and trying to get a gt body kit so my gp dnt look like a pile lol.... The only mod i have done so far is DIY CAI works really well i love the sound it produces and my next mod is to get cat back straight pipes so i have a dual exhaust. Will it sound crappy or be okay? ive read that it can sound ricer i maybe 17 but dnt like that high pitch anoying noise u hear when a honda is on it next to u.

I recommend getting mufflers but that's my opinion
I have two magnaflow mufflers and they have a nice rumble to them

Keep the factory resonator. My opinion...get a factory GT/GTP catback...and change the mufflers/tips and put a 26"+ long glasspack in place of the factory resonator...then...a 3" catless downpipe.

    Done.

    welcome.

So Pretty much just get a gt/gtp exhaust and put a good brand of muffler or glasspacks? Would cherry bomb glasspacks work i have one didnt measure it yet but ik its bigger than the stock muffler i have.

Im going for cheap DQ doesnt pay me enough to go all out so its step by step i was thinking if i just do straight pipes now and maybe in month or two put glass packs as mufflers then get DP

you would use a glasspack as a resonator rather than a muffler
