I've owned my 97GTP from new, still remember the feeling driving it off the lot that day. It was the baddest thing on the road, at least where I live.
At the time my son was 2yrs. old, and now he's 16, and I figured since we just bought a CTS , he going to inherit this beast.
I've kept on it as far as maintenance and appearance, so it shouldn't embarrass him at school , but it does need some work.
I have to change the intake gaskets, SC coupler, and AC compressor, which is not a whole lot , but enough to keep me busy for a coupe weeks.
I'm an ex GM tech,MasterASE, so I know my way around cars a bit, but I wouldn't be here if I though I knew everything. I feel pretty good playing around with this car, I'm not working on cars for a living anymore, but would like to get my ASE L1 cert. in June, so the time I get this all worked out and running again, a lot of this stuff should come back to me. I'm sure I'll be posting here and their , so be ready.
