    Hello from Alabam

Been lurking for a few weeks and my son pushed me to join. 2006 Grand Prix owner. The GranPrix is impressive with the get up and go the stock 3.8l engine has with an ability to get really good gas mileage if you can hold those ponies back. Now that it's aging the gas isn't going as far and a search for the cure brought me here.

    welcome.

a standard tune up of everything should help bring the mpgs back.

Also, take the throttle body off and clean it really good. On the 04+ car the TB likes to gum up with all kinds of junk.

    and a less heavy foot.

firstly, i'd get some injector cleaner. that should juice up your economy quite a bit.

if you're not satisfied there, give 'er a tune up.

    97 GT - slow, rusty
93 CTD - more slow, less rust
