I have a '99 GTP that I love, but it seems like the majoirty of my repair/maintenance expenses have occurred in the last 6 months. That's after 11 years and 140,000 miles on it. I'm losing some trust in the car and wondered what others have experienced with their cars. When do you stop putting money into the car and start shopping? I don't have others vehicle for backup and really need my car!
    Thanks for your input.

    Welcome.

Basically, you realize that as much as you put into fixing it is as much as you would have used as a down payment on a new car. That's when you start shopping.

Just get it fixed and start saving for a new one if you are not happy with your gp.

    Welcome Nora
If you really love her you might consider getting a second set -o- wheels and drive the Prix on weekends.
    I'm keepin mine forever
