    Welcome

Turbo doesn't mean 100% automatic trans failure.

I have to laugh when i see people on the local GP forum with cars that pull amazingly when in gear but the tranny struggles to shift under load.

No way around the fact that more power requires a better transmission and close attention to your transmission tune.

Doesnt matter if its turbo or s/c.

Its like an intercooler... you dont NEED an intercooler to hit 12's with an M90 but its a damned good idea.

May not be necessary but its smart.

I don't want to get in a debate, just looking to clarify some of the misinformation floating around over here. I am speaking from personal experience. It all depends on how fast you want to go, but trapping 115+ on a totally stock 135k NA trans for over a year is quite possible.

Then tell it how it is instead of calling misinformed.

Simple. The NA trans has a much smaller and weaker differential compared to the HD trans. Note the name 4t65e HD.
