I think your talking about the metal piece that is the heat shield for the plug wire boot, and to take them off you need to take the plug wire itself loose. And if they have never been off or if they didn't use the grease they will damn near be glued to the plug itself. I have two grand prix's and when I still had my GT it had been 81k since the plug wires had been loose when I got it and I had to rip the plug wires appart and on some even take a razor down the side of the boot to get it off the plug itself to do my tune up. So you might as well have plugs, wires, boot grease, and of course anti-sieze handy for your tuneup if that is what your doing.

And to start a thread you just find the correct section on the forum homepage and once in that section up at the top you click new thread. Not sure if there is a post count minimum before you can start your own thread or not...

Mmm, my sister in law has a bright red G8 with the black interior... Thing is sexy to say the least. I tell my wife I married the wrong sister whenever I see it. Its just the base I think but still has some pep. Just let us know if you have any more problems, theres a lot of guys on here who know way more than me...
