My name is Bill, I live in Waltham MA and I drive a 2000 Grand Prix GTP. I use it as my winter car and alternate daily driver. I've formed a love/hate relationship with this car over the last few years (more hate than love lately!) It's bone stock apart from the KYB GR2 I used to replace the front struts. It's got over 150k miles on it, so I've had to replace a significant portion of the car since purchasing it with around 90k on it.

I discovered these forums while searching for answers to some problems I've been having, and you guys have a ton of useful information and seem to be a generally helpful crew, so I'm thrilled to join the community!

My real project car is an '88 Chevy Monte Carlo SS. I drive it daily in good weather and recently finished building and installing a new small block 350 for her. I've spent my life around cars, and I'll do my best to help out and offer any advice I may have.

I do love my GTP and am interested in finding some local clubs. I've never really explored the car club scene around here so I'm looking forward to seeing what I've been missing. Drop me a message if you're in my area.

Haha, Blue I read your sig link before I even finished signing up for the forums. Amazing stuff you have there, very helpful! I am considering doing a few of your minor upgrades to make my car more reliable, as I need it to be just that as my winter car.

I used to toy around with the thought of doing some performance stuff to it, and if I ever decide to buy another daily driver I might strip the GTP down for weight, perform some mods and turn it into a racer (I'm an SCCA member, though I've yet find time to hit the tracks.) And with my other projects going, sometimes I have a hard time justifying the work to myself. Maybe you guys can convince me otherwise

Haha, alright CTK I'll throw up some pics of my cars once I get some time during the week. I know I have some old ones of the monte and the vette, but I'm not sure if I have any of the GP right now. I'll have to take some once I finish putting it back together (my ignition lock keeps getting stuck and wont turn off past accessory mode, so I'm removing it and having the lock rebuilt, but the damn steering wheel won't come off the center bolt, turning this into a multi-weekend project.)
