Hi, I'm not new to forums in general but I am certainly new to this one.... I am a new grand prix GTP owner, and I'm starting to think maybe just maybe it could of been a huge mistake. I'm here looking for some advice and pointers in the right direction to my problems.

But yeah so my car I have a 1998 Grand Prix GTP, 253,749k on the odometer and I have no idea if its the original engine or trans, but it runs like a champ it shifts like **** but that is where I got all my questions.
HOPEFULLY someone can help me and i hope to find some good pointers here with you guys happy pontiacing I guess~

I take it the car feels like it isn't shifting correctly? Have you checked the fluid? Does it smell burnt or is it a black color?

    Welcome...

That's a few miles on the ole girl and the fact that it runs well is a good thing. Please elaborate on what the trans is doing for us to get a better idea and give you suggestions/tests of things to look at.
