Hello from South Florida...
I am the original owner of my 1990 Pontiac Grand Prix STE
Mileage presently sitting @ 62k
She goes by "Betsy"
Drove her off the showroom floor out in Denver, Co. June 1990
She spent her first two summers cruising Route 66 on extended roadtrips.
She shares garage space with a 1972 GTO.
In the upcoming weeks/months I will be attempting to get her roadworthy again. I say attempting because those Gen1 ABS brakes don't work worth a darn. Anyone familiar with Delco I/II ABS Braking Systems will probably know what I mean. I have been laughed out of more than one service facility (incl. 2-3 Pontiac dealerships) over the last 3-4 years in my efforts to get a lasting repair on the braking system. They worked fine for years until I stopped driving her on a regular basis several years ago. Any and all attempts for repair have been frustrating and expensive.
I look forward to the Community's camaraderie and insight on my endevour to get roadtrippin' w/Betsy again.....
