Just want to say whats up to every one!!!!
I own a 2007 base 3.8L grand prix and im looking to get a few more poneys out of it.. i figured i could just slap on a supercharger from a L67 but turns out i have a series 111 3.8L not a series 11 3.8L so that kinda slamed the door on that project and now need some advice on what i can do. im lost how the gt model makes 50 more horse then a base model.. i figure the ecu (20-30)hp and the duel exshaust only (10)hp if that cuz it just ''y'' at the back to two tips.. so what can i do to make my ride a bit more non old mans car???? im so pissed that the intake is diffrent and cant put on the supercharger.... i know its a strong 3.8L and has alot of history for making power but dont know where to start... any thing will help thanx....

    Welcome to the community.

I dont know if a top swap can be done on your vehicle or not, but you may want to look into that, which that would give you the supercharger. But the Gen V blowers seem to be up there in price so I dont know what it would run as far as costs got.

Welcome to the forums! Im having the same problem bro; a n/a stock Series III 3800 and nothing to do to it but mods around the $900 range. They make cold air intakes for our cars and theres some stuff on ZZP that will work on our cars. Ive also been told that some of the mods for the Series II 3800(L67) can be interchangeable to work on the Series III as well, but havent tried it myself to find out. check out 3800performance.com as well, they have a few products for the Series III. No mods for our engine are cheap, just fyi. Good luck!
