New guy here. I have a 3.8 supercharged engine out of a 2002 Grand Prix GTP. It's in a Brunton SuperStalker, a 1500 lb. Lotus Superseven clone. Joined up here to learn what I can about the engine.

Thanks! I wish I could say I did it myself, but I bought it built. It is a Brunton Superstalker. They make them as kits or turn key. Fast machines. My wife and I run it in a lot of Solo events, I stick on some fat sticky tires for that. It is street legal too. A great time. The car is so light and the engine has so much torque that at autocrosses I usually launch in second, get into third as soon as I can and drive it like an automatic. Here's some pictures:

Here's an in-car video taking my nephew for a fun-run at an autocross.

welcome, sweet ride! What kind of engine work is done?
It is basically stock, only a modest computer tune. It's hard to use all the power as it is. I don't really need any more out of it. But then, is enough really ever enough?
everything is pretty accessible and I would like to do any work on it myself if I can. I can't access the sub forum for this engine? Maybe because I just signed up? Right now the only issue is a small leak on the oil pan gasket which will be an easy fix.
Sweet I smell a very fast ride
yeah, some parts of the forum are acting up right now. In the meantime, you can see a guideline of sorts for most of the guys on here in the "general tech discussion" section, thread is called "Safely Modding your 3800." That should give you some ideas.
A pulley drop and rockers would make that run VERY nicely.
It'd help it to keep pulling after 4-5K where they typically die off.
Thanks. It has a Borg Warner T5 out of a Camero. The front spindles, front and rear brakes and rear axle are out of an S10 pickup. It is a pile of American parts stuck together.
This is a link to a spec page that lists most of what it's built from. http://www.bruntonauto.com/Specs/SSpecs.htm

very cool. Like matt said, some rockers would help give you a little more top end. And is it just me, or does the steering look like it could be tightened up some?
