Hi everybody.
Newbie here from the Wet Coast of Canada. Not only am I a newbie to Grand Prix's, but I'm a newbie to the whole General Motors thing. Deep down I'm a Ford guy, but at the end of the day, they all have their pro's and con's and they all get you where you need to go, so I'm not afraid to play on different teams.
My name is Chris, I've got 20+ years in the automotive business, and love to tinker and waste time on my vehicles. I have slowed down over the past years, but I still try my best to have the nicest ride(s) on the block.
I bought my 2002 Grand Prix GT last Tuesday, as my T-Bird SC was written off. I had my Bird for 7 years and figured that this was a good time to move on to something different. The GP's caught my fancy with their sporty looks and loaded features. I did look at a few GTP's, but they didn't really do much for me, and I was looking to get away from running hi octane fuel on a daily driver. So far, I am very happy with my GP.
Here she is after her bath on Tuesday evening:
What's with the handle you ask? I have been 4-wheeling in my 1985 (slightly modified) Bronco since 1994, so Bronco Boy is what most people know me as. I seem to have a reputation on the 'net, so hopefully nobody here knows who I am.
The Bronco is now rusted to the point of no return, so she's being parted out and my recently acquired 1990 F-250 will slowly turn into the wheeling machine that keeps me sane (or is it insane).
Anyways, that's me in a nutshell. I don't post a lot on forums these days as life has me busy busy busy, but I do use them to do my repairs and modifications, and I always try and lend a hand and help out when I can.
