23 years old from Ontario.. Been searching around for a decent GP forum and I think I've finally found one.
    I'm a tool maker by trade/gearhead/photoshop artist

my car is a 1998 Grand Prix GTP

the car will not sit like this for long... the bra is hiding a crack (found a new bumper cover) i picked up a brand new 2000 L67 crate motor for $400 CAD.. and I've begun porting/polishing/painting etc

hope to be finished and swapped in by july 18th.

    thanks for the view.

thanks for the welcomes... and yes I've already ported+polished/bought oversized goodies.. only thing i'm debating is a cam at this time.. i think i'd like to make sure the engine is doing okay.. and cam it after it's been broken in.

If you need help with the swap, gimme a shout. Its what, a 20 minute drive?

Also check out OQCGP for local parts and theres a meet in downtown shwa every friday.

If the engine is "brand new" then get a cam and throw it in and just dont beat on it if you're concerned about it.

Edit: I hope you're either a fan of the comic book punisher or at least the first punisher movie.... not the second....

where about in oshawa is the meet? nowhere near lakeview park i hope, i can't deal with those children anymore. and yeah the engine is a zero km. thanks for the offer, but myself and a friend are slowly organising the swap in his garage.
and yes i'm a fan of the tom jane punisher.. the second movie was terrible.. and i used to read the comics.. however the badging in the sig/avatar is more so meant to be zr1 styling

I must not know much about the ZR1 since I didn't know it came with a massive punisher logo attached to it haha.

Its at the tim hortons just north of the oshwa centre. Usually around 7-10 pm. Check OQCGP to see if people are actually going out.

    good luck.

that wasn't my idle, that was my friend jeff on the throttle trying to set off the thermostat gently.
