Hello all! Just wanted to say hi to all the other owners and take a second to introduce myself. I'm pleased to say that after having owned a 99 GP GT for 4 years, then defecting to an 04 Cadillac CTS for 2009, I have once again joined the GP family with my very own 07 GP GXP. It seems like it will be a fun car to wrench on and I'm looking forward to putting it through the paces. I look forward to your input and establishing a healthy and helpful relationship with all of you. I have several questions about the vehicle so keep an eye out for my posts in the help forums. Good day to you all and drive safe.

Welcome, this site is filled with a bunch of smart guys and girls, but also filled with a bunch of immature pricks, just so you know. There's a ton of information on here, anytime you have a problem you're guaranteed to get a smartazz answer from someone that thinks they're better than you

thanks for the heads up. Just like everyone else I love my car, that is why I bought it. They are like children so of course I expect a bias every now and again from other owners. Did anyones get there GP as a certified used car? I have no problem waiting until my 12 month/12k bumper to bumper is up but if I can, it never hurts to get a head start on a build. Not that my options are that abundant with the GXP but I need to get the prerequisites out of the way. (intake/exhaust/tune/tires) I'm not looking to built a track car, that's what I had my 99 GP for, but It just nice to have that little extra that makes your car unique.

Personally I'd skip the track car idea, weighs WAY to much, just make it a badazz sleeper and enjoy driving it daily and reliably.

mine was a GM certified used vehicle. I was waiting out my 12 month warranty and just last week (9 months in) someone totalled my car. Boy am I glad I waited to mod, i would've lost tons of money.
