    hi i have 99 grandprix gtp.my car starts and shuts off within 10 secs.but if i hotwire the pump it runs anybody have any ideas what it could be

    thanks i will check this out tomorrow.This car was given to me by my dad and he couldnt get it running so he was like here you go son.Bad ass car and its a peice of crap .if thats possiable.lol

    well i repaced the resistor and it runs for 10 mins then runs like crap and dies.any ideas

    welcome to the forums, mass airflow sensor, unplug it and see if it runs any better, if it does then the MAF is bad

    my next idea would be the crank position sensor
