Hey guys. I have been a 97' Trans Am owner for four years. I have always enjoyed running against Grand Prix because you can never really know what they have. To say the least I have lost some races to the Grand Prix guys. I have always been a fan of these cars and have looked at many of them to purchase for years as a DD power house.
Well, my girlfriend needed a car for a long while. She had a hand me down 88' XJ6 Jag from my father that was falling apart on her. It did it's job for two years but it stopped starting and was completely unsafe.
She and I finally got enough money to get her something nice. That's when I came across an 01' Grand Prix GTP Special Edition sedan. The car was on it's second owner who took amazing care of the car. She has had every single receipt since she owned the car in 2003. I have never seen such a clean GTP in my life so we bought it.
To say the least her and I feel like that fun, cooky, silly, odd Pontiac high performance couple... Kind of like your Harley couples. We love our Pontiacs!!!
I'm going to be posting some basic care questions in the appropriate forum. We aren't looking to highly modify this car but maybe in the future we may do a few fun things to the car.
