Yep, new member, own a 97 2 door and am trying to decide fix it up or trade in for something newer. I am at 133k. I am thinking about 17 or 18 ' wheels, window banners and side decals over the badges, satellite radio/CD player, more speakers, will need to replace rear struts for sure, also window motors and windshield fluid motor. Any input from anyone who has made the commitment to fix it all and run it to 250k will be appreciated! It has been 125% trouble free, and I mean totally. Noticing some exhaust type odor. Only weak link I feel is the suspension, on our rough Wisconsin urban war ground city roads, it shakes and bounces like crazy. On new pavement or good highway she rides & handles like a dream.

    Thx,

    Hank in Milwaukee

Fixing it all and driving it is worth it. If you are bored with it, you can always get a new payment!

I'm at 160k and still doing minimal mait.. I'd keep the stock wheel size, personally I think anything bigger looks dumb on these cars.

Window banners and side decals? = fail.

More speakers? If you mean subs then ok, but 6 is quite enough for lows/highs.
