Hey all I've got my hands on a 97 GrandPrix GT with 150grand on the ticker, I've been working on this thing for over 2months tring to find whats wrong with it, The last owner had it repoed but before it went they cut the main harness behind the glovebox almost in half and the main harness in the engine bay almost in half. all those have been fixed everything is working now from the heads up display to power windows.. But now its still throwing a TPS code" Low circut" two of the wires in the engine bay that they cut did go to the TPS but those are fixed now unless theres more cut Ohh and if you rev the motor is it ment to cu back at 4 grand like a re limiter?? I'm more a Ford Guy but I was impressed with how much power this 3.8l N/A could do.. Any help would be great... Oh and it wont shift in to OD in most cases this would have something to do with the TPS on these GP GT's?

    Welcome to the community.

I dont have anything to offer on the TPS. However on the rev limiter, it does kick in at 4k if you rev it up in park, so you are okay there.

Welcome to the forums!!!! we have a NA section down below the Tech. I am sure if you post your problem in there, someone would be more than willing to help out.

if you have a haynes manual for the car it has all the wiring schematics....all you would have to do is trace the wires.
