I am new to this so I will just post my question. Where is the Brake Pedal Positioning Sensor located on a 2008 Grand Prix 3.8L III ? I am told this is why my cruise control is not working. Any comments.

    Thanks for your replies.

Its a switch. just follow the metal that the pedal is mounted to and you'll find it. There's often two switches- one for the brake lights and one for the cruise. Isn't your car still under warranty?

Unfortunately, my car was stolen, it was completely stripped and the insurance company totaled it. I bought it from the insurance company and rebuilt it. No warranty exists.

    Thank you for your reply.

Wow...sorry to hear about that. As it was stated, just follow the pedal stick and I would replace both switches for cheap insurance.
