Hi from Australia I dont own a Grand Prix but I am A Pontiac fan in general and a fan of the L67 , This is my 98 VS L67 Holden statesman its pretty much stock other than a boost increase and corvette servo ,also it has the standard features of ABS ,IRS

Also I own A 1957 pontiac it runs a 455 pontiac turbo350 and recently had a 9inch conversion ,but it is enjoying an extended vacation due to a shonky engine builder

So I look forward to reading up on some tips for the L67 and seeing some nice Grand Prixs cheers

Is the Holden built on the W platform? I also believe that this is the first time anyone has used the word "shonky" in a thread............anyway, welcome

No Idea what a w platform is , shonky is Australian slang for a rip off put it this way all of new parts dissapeared as well as my hi compression pistons and a lot of work he said he done wasnt done ,but unfortunatly it took a year for the 455 to blow and I didnt discover this until it was torn down again with more than enough time for him to disappear

Yer thats right the majority of our cars are rwd and the majority of Aussies are crazy especially if they own a powerful car thats why we love muscle cars ,I know there are L67 commodores burnouts videos on you tube , The statesman is the luxury Holden they use to be V8 only, then they Released the v6 version (the buick 3800 not sure if its the same as the US),and thyen we got the Ecotech and the L67 ,but Im not a hundred percent sure if the l67 is still avaliable Holden has the Alloy tech now

Dont forget you can refer to a person as a shonk or shonky and to anything as shonky ,If I use any other slang your not sure about pull me up about it ,I only wish we had Grand Prixs over here ,the only one I have ever seen was about a 77 model I think it was a coupe

If anyone wants to have a look at some Australian cars I can give you some links to some forums if its allowed
